Sea MD Participant Registration Process

Embarking on your Sea MD adaptive Sailing and SCUBA Diving journey entails several crucial steps and deadlines from signup to departure. Here's your guide to navigating through them seamlessly.

To "dive into" of Sea MD's adaptive Sailing and SCUBA Diving journeys, follow these steps to secure your spot:

Step 1

Sign up for a Sea MD Journey and...

...Sea MD will reserve a place for you! Each journey has its own sign-up deadline:

- La Paz, Baja Sur, Mexico: sign up at least 90 days before the trip.      

- US Virgin Islands: sign up at least 90 days before the trip.    

- Great Barrier Reef, Australia: sign up at least 150 days before the trip.

*Please note that occasionally certain journeys may have an earlier deadline date due to limited availability or other unique factors.

Step 2

Submit Deposit Payment

Your deposit for Sea MD Adaptive Sailing and SCUBA Diving journeys is required within 14 days of signing up.

Step 3

Please submit your Sea MD Participant Application & Release form.

The Sea MD Participant Application form helps us gather your contact details and essential information regarding the care you may require during your adaptive Sailing and SCUBA Diving journey. If you've previously submitted a Participant Application, simply let us know if any details have changed.

The signed Sea MD Participant Agreement & Release form grants us permission to include you in the trip.

Please adhere to the following deadlines for submitting these documents, depending on the trip:

- Sea MD La Paz, Baja Sur, Mexico: 45 days before the trip

- Sea MD US Virgin Islands: 45 days before the trip

- Sea MD Great Barrier Reef, Australia: 60 days before the trip

Step 4

Receive Pre-Trip forms from Sea MD

4-6 Weeks before your adaptive Sailing and SCUBA Diving journey departure, Sea MD will send you Pre-Trip forms to fill out and return. The Pre-Trip form provides us with the latest information regarding your contacts and health.

The deadline to return your completed Pre-Trip forms to Sea MD is 14 days before departure for all trips.

Step 5

Pay Journey Balance

The due date for full payment or an approved payment plan varies depending on the trip:

- For Sea MD La Paz, Baja Sur, Mexico: 30 days before the journey

- For Sea MD USVI: 30 days before the journey

- For Sea MD Great Barrier Reef, Australia: 45 days before the journey

Please make sure to adhere to these deadlines to secure your reservation.

Step 6

Sea MD Itinerary & Destination Pick-up Time

Two weeks before embarking on your adaptive Sailing and SCUBA Diving journey with Sea MD, our team will send you a comprehensive itinerary. This document will outline all of the important details and the timing of each activity throughout your Sea MD journey:

- Pick-up time at the Destination airport

- Journey Vessel Boarding time

- Journey Disembark time

- Sea-to-Shore Participant Communications Instructions

- Daily Journey Itinerary

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, necessitating adjustments to the schedule, rest assured that we will promptly communicate any changes to you.
