Refund Policy

All modifications and cancellations must be submitted in writing and will be considered effective from the date of receipt. A processing fee of up to $150 may be applicable to handle any requests.

Sea MD™ reserves the right to nullify reservations and enforce cancellation penalties if full payment is not received by the final payment deadline and/or if the necessary paperwork from the participant is incomplete or missing.

No reimbursements will be provided for cancellations, alterations, or delays caused by weather conditions, governmental travel restrictions, transportation delays or cancellations, unforeseen circumstances beyond Sea MD's control, labor strikes, civil unrest, pandemics, or other events beyond Sea MD's control.

Penalties for changes and cancellations will be enforced if modifications or cancellations are necessitated by actions of the participant, including but not limited to last-minute cancellations, denial of boarding by airlines for any reason, failure to present proper identification required for travel, or inaccurate disclosure of essential information pertaining to the participant's support needs.

In the event that a participant misses the scheduled departure of the journey due to unforeseen circumstances (medical or otherwise), they will be classified as a "no-show," and no refund will be issued.

Sea MD™ highly recommends that all participants invest in separate travel insurance to mitigate or minimize financial losses in case of unexpected occurrences (including situations related to COVID) resulting in change or cancellation fees imposed by Sea MD™.

For all international journeys commencing in 2025, participants will be mandated to obtain travel insurance.

Participants are accountable for any additional, unforeseen expenses incurred by Sea MD™ on their behalf, such as long-distance telephone charges, pay-TV fees, airline or transportation costs for special assistance or excess baggage, unscheduled drop-off fees, toiletry, clothing, or medical expenses, hotel bedding damage fees, or additional accommodation or meal expenses caused by delays in public transportation or adverse weather conditions. These expenses will be invoiced to the participant subsequently and must be settled within 20 days.

Refunds and Charges

7. No refund for flight cancellations or delays due to weather or date changes due emergency. In the event of a pandemic, the journey will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

8. No refund will be issued if the participant is refused boarding due to lack of proper identification. A REAL ID or current passport is required for all domestic air travel after May 7th, 2025.

9. Sea MD Inc.™ reserves the right to cancel reservations that are not paid at any time after final payment is due in which case cancellation penalties will apply.

10. For reasons of safety, participants may lose their space on the journey if necessary paper work is not received by due date.  Change/cancellation penalties may apply.

11. Changes to airport/departure city after tickets are issued is considered a change in itinerary and penalties will apply.

Sea MD's refund policy is effective as of 21 March 2024.
